Filling in your digital business card: 6 tips

What to highlight, what to avoid and how to present a clear, professional card

1. A sharp photo or logo

It is the first thing people see. Choose a well-lit front-facing photo, or a logo that stays readable at small size

2. A precise job title and company

Say what you do in a few words. A clear title beats a generic one

3. Highlight the contact method you prefer

If you answer faster on WhatsApp than by phone, highlight WhatsApp. The number of highlighted contacts depends on your plan

4. Add your useful links

Website, LinkedIn, portfolio or booking page: a few well-chosen links are enough, no need to add them all

5. Think about what is public

Your card is accessible to anyone who has its link or QR Code. Only show information you are happy to share

6. Review and test

Open your link from another phone, scan your QR Code and try the Save to my contacts button. One minute of checking avoids a poor first impression
